In a delightful turn of events, songs by BTS that were released several years ago have made a surprising appearance on the Billboard charts.
According to the most recent Billboard chart, “Spring Day“, the title track from ‘WINGS,’ secured the 5th position. Furthermore, “Outro: Tear“, a song from BTS’s 3rd regular album ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉: ‘Tear,’‘ released back in 2018, made a striking debut at the 22nd spot. This remarkable feat marks the first time these songs have appeared on the chart in about 5 to 6 years after their initial release, reaffirming BTS’s enduring influence.
In addition to these accomplishments, a slew of older tracks re-entered the ‘World Digital Song Sales‘ chart. “Spring Day” took the top position, followed by “Outro: Tear” in the second place. Even their debut single, ‘2 COOL 4 SKOOL,’ saw its title track “No More Dream” re-enter at the 6th spot. Another notable mention includes “Louder than bombs“, a b-side track from the 4th regular album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7,’ securing the 8th position.
BTS members have also been making waves on various Billboard charts as solo artists. Jungkook’s solo album ‘GOLDEN‘ climbed to the 41st spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Additionally, the album’s title track, “Standing Next to You“, reached the 99th position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. These remarkable achievements mark their 6th consecutive week on both charts.
Jimin’s solo album ‘FACE‘ also left its mark with the title track “Like Crazy” ranking 94th on the ‘Global (excluding the U.S.)’ chart and 175th on the ‘Global 200’ chart. V’s solo album ‘Layover’ stood out as well, securing the 43rd position on the ‘Top Current Album’ chart. The album’s song “Love Me Again” claimed the 179th position on the ‘Global (excluding the U.S.)’ chart.
