On August 30, NewJeans uploaded a video of Danielle singing V’s recent solo pre-release single “Rainy Days” from his upcoming solo debut album ‘Layover.’ Danielle displayed her musical talent and provided a heartfelt interpretation of the track.
Along with the cover, Danielle shared her thoughts on the track and explained, “After I listened to ‘Rainy Days,’ it resonated with me so much. It brought me back to a rainy day from my childhood where I would sit by the window and look outside.”
Upon hearing Danielle’s captivating rendition of his song, BTS’ V couldn’t help but express his admiration for her talent. During his recent Weverse Live streaming, V chose to share Danielle’s cover of “Rainy Days.” Throughout the duration of the song, V was visibly moved and didn’t hold back from praising Danielle.
V was seen constantly signaling his approval, lifting his two thumbs up in a sign of praise, and indicating his admiration for her singing prowess. After listening to the track, V said, “It’s so definitive.”
