BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, is currently gracing the cover of ELLE Korea‘s April 2023 issue.
In the past weeks, various content were released by ELLE Korea in collaboration with the luxury brand CELINE, including preview photos, interviews, a fashion film, and photoshoot outtakes.
In celebration of ELLE Korea’s highly acclaimed April 2023 issue featuring the mesmerizing “genre destroyer V,” Taehyung’s devoted fans organized a grand gesture of appreciation.
His Korean and international fanbases banded together to send some goodies to ELLE Korea’s editorial team, expressing gratitude for shooting a successful solo cover with him.
On April 14, they arranged for the delivery of gift bags, flowers, food, drinks, and heartfelt letters from fans around the world to every member of the ELLE Korea team. This gesture was joyously received and warmly welcomed by the team.
The goodies were wrapped in purple, BTS’ official color, that came from “Borahae/I Purple You,” a phrase coined by Taehyung to express their long-lasting love with the fans.
ELLE Korea’s Editor-in-Chief, Eunmi Chae, and Features Director, Lee Maroo, took to Instagram to express their heartfelt gratitude towards fans for their massive efforts.
She acknowledged the gifts of gratitude received by all members of their team and highlighted the quality of the gifts and the touching letter that accompanied them.
Taehyung’s fanbases showed a similar gesture of gratitude last year for his VOGUE KOREA October 2021 issue by sending goodies to the editorial team, which was warmly received.
