BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, continues to achieve records before his official solo debut.
“Sweet Night,” a track composed, written, and produced by Taehyung himself, has exceeded 300 million streams on Spotify, the world’s leading streaming platform.
It extends its record as the most-streamed Korean OST on the platform.
“Sweet Night,” an original soundtrack released for the JTBC drama ‘Itaewon Class’ in March 2020, created a milestone in the K-pop industry by smashing numerous records.
Along with its Spotify record, the OST made history by becoming the first-ever song to reach #1 on the iTunes charts in 119 countries.
Taehyung has been dubbed the “OST King” after recently securing the top two spots for the most-streamed Korean OSTs on Spotify. His other OST, “Christmas Tree,” currently holds the second place.
This achievement is a testament to Taehyung’s musical prowess, as he continues to captivate audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics.
