“Rainy Days” and “Love Me Again,” the pre-release singles from BTS V’s upcoming debut solo album ‘Layover,’ are seeing global success.
On August 11 local time, “Rainy Days” and “Love Me Again” ranked at #1 and #2 on Japan’s main music chart Oricon‘s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking.’ On the same day, the singles racked up 3,773,666 and 3,576,108 Spotify streams respectively, earning them the #10 and #12 spot on the streaming service’s ‘Daily Top Song – Global.’
These are not the only global charts V’s new music seems to be dominating. As of 8 AM KST on August 13, “Rainy Days” topped iTunes ‘Top Song‘ charts in 70 different regions around the world, while “Love Me Again” has reached #1 in 35.
Meanwhile, ‘Layover’ is set for release on September 8.
