In the new episode of MBC‘s ‘I Live Alone,’ BTS’s J-Hope shared his thoughts on marriage.
In the episode that aired on March 7, J-Hope spent time with his older sister, Jung Ji Woo, as the two enjoyed an outing together in Los Angeles, California. While the siblings sat down to eat together, Ji Woo checked up on how J-Hope was doing.
He shared, “I’ve been working on my songs. I like them but there are a few things I’m worried about.” He confessed to his sister the pressure he’s been feeling and explained, “I’m working with all the renowned producers so there is pressure for me to do well. The time is limited and I know what I need to do but there is still pressure.”
J-Hope shared during his interview, “I share a lot of my worries with my family since they’re my family. But then, I can’t share everything with them. It’s because I believe I can endure my hardships on my own. So, at times, I feel like I should endure them on my own and I shouldn’t be weak.”

He continued to talk with his sister and asked about her husband. J-Hope’s sister shared that she is planning on having children. J-Hope expressed his excitement and explained, “If it’s a nephew, I think I’ll have so much fun with him. If it’s a niece, I think I’ll spoil her and buy her a lot of gifts.”
The conversation then shifted to J-Hope’s prospects for marriage. When his sister began nagging J-Hope about contacting their parents more often, J-Hope joked, “Maybe it’s because I’m a son, (I can’t bring myself to call). Maybe I’ll call more often after I get married.”

Upon hearing J-Hope’s response, his sister asked, “Do you want to get married?” J-Hope answered, “Maybe I won’t be able to…”
At the ‘I Live Alone’ studio, the cast members continued the topic of discussion, and Park Na Rae asked J-Hope, “Do you really think you won’t be able to get married?” J-Hope responded, “To be honest, I do think about these things as I get older.” When Jun Hyun Moo further asked to elaborate, asking, “Why do you think you won’t be able to get married?” J-Hope shared, “It’s because I love my work so much. My motivation and driving force come from the results I achieve through doing my work.”
Meanwhile, J-Hope released a new single, “Sweet Dreams,” featuring Miguel, and he is currently on his solo world tour, ‘Hope on the Stage,’ which began on February 28.
