BTS’s Jimin is now the longest-charting K-pop soloist of all time

By A.R.M.Y AllKpop 02/02/2025

Jimin has just added yet another impressive achievement to his long list of milestones. The BTS member has now become the longest-charting K-pop soloist of all time on the Billboard Artist 100 chart. This marks the end of Jimin’s long-running tie with fellow BTS member Jungkook, as both held historically long records on the Artist 100 chart. As of January 30, Jimin has now held a spot on the Billboard Artist 100 for 34 total non-consecutive weeks. He is currently at the No. 62 spot on the chart.

Jimin made his comeback in 2024 with the album ‘MUSE,’ featuring the title track ‘Who.’ The album has continued to maintain impressive levels of success, as the current longest-charting K-pop solo album ever. ‘MUSE’ recently reached its 27th week on the Billboard 200 chart.

Similarly, ‘Who’ is continuing to chart even 6 months after its release. The standout track reached its 26th week on the Hot 100 chart this week, holding strong at the No. 25 spot. ‘Who’ is also staying near the top of the Global 200 chart, Streaming Songs chart, and Global Excl. US chart. As of this week, ‘Who’ has now overtaken FIFTY FIFTY’s ‘Cupid’ as the third longest-charting K-pop song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Congratulations to Jimin!
