BTS’s Jungkook, named Performer of the Year at the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), will make his first appearance at the ceremony by performing a special stage. In the list of this year’s award candidates, Jungkook was selected in three categories: Best Song, Best K-Pop, and Biggest Fans, making him hold the record for most nominations by a Korean solo artist.

Jungkook will also simultaneously release his first solo album, GOLDEN, worldwide on November 3 at 1 PM KST. This album contains eleven tracks, including the title song, “Standing Next To You.”
