On April 26 (KST), ARMYs were shocked when BTS‘s Jungkook received the most unexpected apology following a live broadcast.
On Monday 24, Jungkook and V attended the Dream premiere, to show their support for the cast, including Park Seo Joon and IU.
Jungkook gained attention after his late night Weverse broadcast following the Dream premiere. Despite it being late, the idol chatted with fans and even made some food.
While cooking, Jungkook was using some soy sauce and got incredibly excited when he realized that the expiry date was his birthday, which is September 1.
Considering Jungkook’s influence, it wasn’t surprising that the brand’s business boomed. Kikkoman even took to its official Twitter account to thank the idol for the buzz created and share a photo of the actual product he used.

Yet, netizens quickly noticed that the brand had spelled Jungkook wrong in the hashtags amidst the tweet, writing “Jungkok” instead.
After noticing the spelling mistake, the company shared an unexpected apology on their account. Not only did they post a picture of someone from the brand consistently writing out Jungkook’s name in English so that they wouldn’t spell it wrong again…
The tweet made ARMYs LOL after the brand shared a heartfelt apology. In the text, the brand explained that they were thankful for
For yesterday’s spelling mistake, thank you for a lot of [people] pointing it out. I will reflect on it again…
[We] will practice properly/thoroughly. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused.
