BTS’s RM Is “Shy” About His Birthday

Naturally, people enjoy celebrating the birthdays of their loved ones, expressing how glad they were that the person was born.

So, K-Pop fans also celebrate their favorite idols’ birthdays. Many participate in cup sleeve events that honor the idol, some buy ads to wish them a happy birthday, some might even send gifts, and most would publicly post sending best wishes.

Recently, BTS‘s leader RM held a live broadcast via Weverse. An ARMY commented that his birthday is soon (September 12). He revealed that he is actually shy about his birthday.

Yeah, my birthday is coming. I never actually waited for my birthday for my whole lifetime. I feel so shy when my birthday comes really ’cause like you guys are really congratulating me and sending messages, all the love, but I still feel really shy.

While others do countdowns for their birthdays, RM explained that he has never waited for his birthday. While he has seen it as just any other day, he feels blessed that ARMYs congratulate him and send messages for his birthday.

Like, ‘Yo, what’s up with the birthday? It’s just a day.’ But, still, I feel really blessed to get congratulated. Aww, thank you for waiting [for] my birthday.
