BTS‘s RM is officially Bottega Veneta‘s latest brand ambassador.
ARMYs have speculated for over a month that RM would become the ambassador for the upmarket Italian brand Bottega Veneta, which specializes in ready-to-wear fashion for both men and women as well as leather bags.
On February 25th, RM wore clothes from the brand and attended its fashion show for Milan Fashion Week. Yet, he had not been announced as an ambassador just yet.

Still, based on his recent activity and interviews, it seemed probable that RM would. While he explained that he had lost interest in brand names, Bottega Veneta still had his respect.
Although I lost interest in brands, fashion weeks, and that constant change of Pantone…Bottega is different, they don’t use logos, they have a history with fabrics and leather, they don’t even have Instagram. They are beyond fads.

Finally, on March 30 (CEST), Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director, Matthieu Blazy, announced that RM is not just the brand’s new ambassador. The BTS leader is the latest addition to the “family” via Instagram. He posted a photo of RM modeling both clothes and one of their iconic leather bags.
