BTS’s V, currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, has gained the nickname ‘Trainee Who Eats Well’ at the military training center.
On an online community, a netizen claimed to have a friend working as a nutritionist at the army training center and shared, “(V) consistently asks if he can have an extra meal.” Additionally, the netizen noted, “When asked, ‘Anyone else wants more?’ he’s always the first to raise his hand.“
Another netizen remarked, “He truly has a hearty appetite,” joyfully recounting their observations of V’s eating habits at the training center’s cafeteria, much to the delight of fans.
Before his enlistment, V expressed his determination to enhance his physical fitness through a live stream on the fan community platform Weverse. He declared, “I will build up the stamina to endure even ten consecutive concerts without fatigue,” and vowed not to be outdone, even in playful games like shoulder bumps.
Setting a specific goal, he stated, “I’ve slimmed down to 62kg (137 lbs), but I plan to bulk up and weigh exactly 86 kg (190 lbs).”
