BTS’s V entered Billboard‘s HOT 100 chart with his latest digital single, “FRI(END)S.”
On March 25, Billboard announced that V’s latest track, “FRI(END)S,” debuted at number 65 on the main singles chart HOT 100.
As a member of the global boy group BTS, V has already entered the chart numerous times and has four solo songs that have charted on the ‘HOT 100.’
Two years ago, V ranked 79th on the HOT 100 chart with the SBS TV drama ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’ OST “Christmas Tree.” Last year, the pre-release song “Love Me Again” from his first solo album ‘Layover‘ ranked 96th, and the title track “Slow Dancing“‘ ranked 51st place.
Not only that, his latest track “FRI(END)S” also made progress on Billboard’s global chart this week. It ranked 5th on the ‘Global 200’ and 3rd on the ‘Global’ (excluding the U.S.) chart.
Recently, V also debuted at 13th place on the UK Singles Top 100 (22nd to 28th), marking his personal best on that chart.
Korean netizens commented, “Congrats,” “Wow, I expected to debut higher. Anyway, congrats!” “The song is good,” “Happy for V,” “Congrats to V,” “Man, it ranked lower than I thought,” “I’ve been listening to his song lately,” “Charting while in the military,” “The results are still good,” “This is still amazing,” and “Congrats!”
