On June 21st, Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, updated his Instagram with several photos from his military discharge celebration party with his friends.
Some photos showed Taehyung joyfully holding a cake to celebrate his discharge, while others captured his playful side with cheeky expressions, like scrunching his nose or sticking out his tongue. He also shared a mirror selfie with close friend Park Seo-joon and a funny moment balancing a wine glass on his forehead.
South Korean DJ and singer-songwriter Peggy Gou also attended the celebration and later shared a photo with Taehyung on her Instagram.
In two other photos, Taehyung showed a different charm—wearing glasses with a shirt and tie for a dandy look—and was seen receiving an autograph from pianist Cho Seong-Jin.
The photos were seemingly taken on June 17th, when Taehyung was spotted attending Cho Seong-Jin’s piano recital at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall alongside legendary director Park Chan-wook—a moment that made news headlines the next morning.
Since his honorable discharge on the 10th from the Army’s 2nd Corps Special Duty Team (SDT), Taehyung has been openly sharing his schedule and future plans with fans, expressing deep affection and gratitude for those who patiently waited for him.
