Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, has reached a significant streaming milestone as a solo artist.
Taehyung has now surpassed 2 billion streams across all credits as a soloist on Spotify, one of the world’s largest streaming platforms.
His discography encompasses hi six-track debut EP ‘Layover,’ which was released in September of last year, three K-drama OSTs, three self-composed SoundCloud songs, and his recent collaboration song “wherever u r” with American neo-soul singer UMI.
In September 2023, Taehyung displayed his distinct musical style and artistic vision with the release of ‘Layover,’ deviating from BTS’s style and prevailing music trends.
Since its release, the EP and its tracks have earned acclaim and recognition from prominent music publications, firmly establishing their position among the top albums and songs of 2023.
