BTS member V has shared a glimpse into his disciplined fitness routine as he prepares for his comeback.
On February 1, V uploaded a video of himself running on Instagram, followed by a short clip taken after completing a one-hour-and-20-minute run. In the video, he is seen catching his breath and resting briefly in a locker room after finishing his workout.
V casually draped the long-sleeve shirt he wore while running over his shoulder, showcasing his signature fashion sense. His toned arm muscles, visible beneath the sleeves of his short-sleeve T-shirt, highlighted the results of long-term, consistent training.
Even after an intense run, he appeared fresh-faced and glowing with sweat, exuding a real-life “godlike” visual. His perfectly proportioned facial features, sharp jawline, and sculpted nose stood out even without makeup or editing, reaffirming his reputation as a global visual icon.
Prior to his enlistment, V had expressed his determination to build strong physical endurance, saying he wanted to become healthy and resilient enough to perform more than ten concerts without fatigue and to stand his ground physically.
After his discharge, he has continued to prioritize fitness, recently shifting his focus from weight training to running. During a live broadcast late last year, V explained that he would be taking a break from weight training due to shoulder issues that began during the ‘Dionysus’ era in 2019 and worsened after intense workouts during his military service, noting that rehabilitation was necessary.
Despite suffering shoulder and thigh injuries while serving in the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Military Police, V ranked first in shooting drills, achieved top results in winter urban combat training, and received a commendation as an exemplary Military Police officer.
Later that day, V surprised fans by visiting the ‘V TYPE 非 : ON-SITE IN SEOUL’ exhibition being held at Frieze House Seoul after his run. Fans who were viewing the exhibition were both shocked and delighted by the unexpected encounter.
On fan platform Weverse, V shared a photo of himself standing behind fans at the exhibition with the playful caption, “Behind. Behind. Behind. Me.” The fans were so focused on leaving messages for him in the message zone that they failed to notice V standing right behind them, creating a lighthearted and amusing moment.
