Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, is gearing up for the release of his solo debut album with exciting promotional plans in store.
On August 26, the official YouTube channel ‘Pixid‘ teased that Taehyung would make an appearance on their show. ‘Pixid‘ is a web entertainment show that uncovers hidden ‘fakes’ within group chat rooms.
‘Pixid’ posted a picture of Taehyung’s dog, Yeontan, with the caption, “Find the dog owner hidden among cat owners.” It remains unclear whether Taehyung will pretend to be a cat owner or if he will be tasked with identifying the dog owner in a group.
The episode will be released on September 2nd at 6 PM KST on Pixid’s official YouTube channel.
So far, five promotions in total have been announced, including a mix of live stages and direct fan interactions. More are expected to be revealed soon.
Besides Taehyung’s appearance on Pixid, these activities were also announced:
– Fan interactions on the ‘Dingo Story’ YouTube channel (August 31, 6PM KST)
– Variety program ‘Running Man’ (September 10, 6:15PM KST)
– Live stages on Naver NOW weekly music program ‘NPOP’ (September 9 & 13)
– Small concert in a library for ‘Tiny Desk Korea’ (TBA)
Taehyung previously mentioned that he had prepared solo activities that fans had wished for based on comments on Weverse, showcasing his utmost love for fans.
Meanwhile, Taehyung’s solo debut album, “Layover,” with its title track “Slow Dancing,” is set to be released on September 8th. The physical albums are currently available for pre-order on stores worldwide.
