BTS‘s J-Hope may be in the military, but he still found a way to surprise ARMY!
He used his one day break to visit the “Hope On The Street Pop-Up Event” in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, celebrating the release of his special album and docu-series.
The Pop-Up Event gave fans the opportunity to experience photo-ops, buy merch, and even take dance lessons.
J-Hope shared pictures from the photo-ops, including the photo wall…
…and 4-cut photobooth!
Thank you (all) for coming!! I love you!!

He also posed with his own cardboard cutout…
…and shared a special message for ARMY.
Hobi was here!*

One of the best parts of his update was a long-awaited video where he shared a video of himself doing a dance challenge to “NEURON.” However, if you take a quick look at the beginning, you’ll know what he’s been up to in the military!
As an assistant instructor, J-Hope helps teach others how to handle firearms and more.
Of course, he looks super cool while doing it — causing ARMYs left a slew of thirst comments!
Incorporating that little bit of the beginning of the video — all while wearing his uniform — shows just what J-Hope has been up to in the military!
He completed the dance challenge, showing off his signature smooth dance moves and infectious smile.
ARMY missed him so much!
