Hint: It’s not just about the number of members.
BTS is participating in environmental projects ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup as part of Hyundai‘s lineup of ambassadors, also known as Team Century. Selecting the jersey number 7, Jimin explained the true meaning of why this number is so important to BTS.
As ARMY know, the meaning of the number 7 comes from BTS’s members, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg of what makes it so meaningful.
The number 7 is the most important number for us as a group. Obviously, and firstly, because we are 7 members. But there is much more behind it.

As 7 individual people, they come together to become one and utilize their strongest assets.
Each of us has his own unique strength. But these strengths only really become powerful when we put them together.

Each BTS member contributes something different. From leadership and teamwork to performance skills and discipline, everyone offers their own unique contributions to form the one and only BTS.
It is because of their strengths and differences that when combined, they can achieve immense success.
That is also the reason why we have made it this far together – because each and every one of us has contributed all he can. That’s why it was clear to us from the beginning that the 7 represents BTS like no other number.

Ultimately, the number 7 doesn’t simply represent 7 different members, but rather 7 pieces of a puzzle that bring their own strengths and have the greatest power when they are together.
