iKON’s Bobby finally revealed the back story of why he dissed RM of BTS during ‘Show Me The Money 3‘ around 10 years ago in 2014.
Bobby appeared as a special guest on the YouTube channel Moneygraphy‘s talk show ‘Money Chord‘ and talked about his career. During the segment, Bobby talked about his experiences competing on ‘Show Me The Money 3.’
The host started the topic by saying, “You used to diss RM. And RM knew your intentions, so he responded, and it was interesting. And I think that K-pop fans didn’t understand what it was. (They thought) why are they attacking each other? They regarded it as an actual personal attack. But it’s just a game (battle) in hip-hop culture. I think it was interesting.”
Bobby elaborated, “This is what I think. There was this talk ‘Why didn’t you attack EXO?’ They said that to me. EXO had lots of fans. My honest answer? If I messed with EXO, I’d be dead.”
The hosts added, “In a sense, it’s a respect. You attacked because you wanted a good fight. It’s an interesting fight.”
