Illegal resale of BTS tickets sparks concern ahead of Goyang concerts

By A.R.M.Y AllKpop 30/03/2026

Ticket scalping continues to plague the concert industry, and even BTS are not immune.

As BTS gear up for their upcoming concerts at Goyang Stadium, signs of unauthorized ticket trading have surfaced overseas, particularly in China. Reports indicate that tickets are being resold at prices far exceeding their original value, raising concerns among fans and industry insiders.

According to reports based on reader submissions, tickets originally priced at 198,000 KRW (approximately $150 USD) for the April 9 show are being offered on Chinese social media platforms for around 1.06 million KRW (approximately $800 USD), nearly four times the face value. In some cases, prices on global resale platforms have surged even higher, reaching up to 2.94 million KRW (approximately $2,200 USD).

Beyond simple resale, various methods to bypass identity verification systems are also reportedly being shared online. These include tactics such as canceling tickets and having a third party repurchase them, as well as transferring entry wristbands to other individuals.

Despite repeated warnings from BigHit Music and HYBE, who strictly prohibit ticket transfers or proxy purchases through unofficial channels, illegal trading appears to persist.

BTS’ Goyang Stadium concerts, which will kick off their ‘ARIRANG’ world tour, are scheduled to take place from April 9 to April 12. As anticipation builds globally, concerns over scalping and unfair ticket practices continue to grow.
