On Nov 23, Jimin departed South Korea for Japan for an overseas schedule. As it has been the norm whenever he travels out of the country, fans flocked to Gimpo airport to bid him goodbye and wish him a safe flight and a good trip altogether.
However, this time around, the crowd at the airport was particularly large and sentimental, which could be attributed to the fact that just a day earlier, Hybe had announced that the remaining 4 members of BTS had initiated their military enlistment process. Thus, fans felt it could be the last time they get to see him off before he leaves for several months, and they did not hold back in showing Jimin how much they love and cherish him.
Aside from showing up very early to the airport, they also brought banners with Jimin’s face and beautiful heart-warming messages, his official merch like ‘Chimmy’ and his self-designed ‘With You’ hoodie among other things like light sticks etc. With these, they hoped it would at least convey their hearts to their beloved idol.
Sure enough, it seems that Jimin did notice all the special deeds by his fans, acknowledging the banners and the merch all around him. Fans even noticed that he got teary while taking in all the love surrounding him!
As always, fans had nothing short of praises for him as he walked through the airport, for his fashion and style, his impeccable manners, his stunning visuals and more. The screams were deafening as everyone shouted his name to let him know that he is a King!
The situation was no different with the Korean media outlets at the airport; they published articles of his airport appearance with headlines praising absolutely everything about him, from his eyes, his aura, his visuals, his mannerisms, his fashion and so much more.
Fans on X also sent him their well wishes for his trip, which saw ‘HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT JIMIN’ trend as high as #8 worldwide!
