New photos of Jungkook and Jimin post-enlistment are being circulated online.
On December 17 KST, the first photos of both BTS members since their enlistment became a hot topic in Korean online communities. In one photo, Jungkook is seen seated at a desk and paying attention while receiving instruction, while Jimin is seen in another photo, clapping in a similar lecture environment.
One post that shared the photos captioned them with, “BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin’s first training camp photos—they say it’s from a writing seminar.”
In response, many netizens reacted to seeing them as soldiers for the first time, leaving comments like, “No matter who looks at it, you can easily tell that’s Jungkook and Jimin,” “Wow, they’re even handsome with their hair buzzed,” “Even with bad photo quality you can tell it’s them as soon as you look,” “Jungkook looks handsome even when all you can see are his eyebrows and T-zone,” and “Hahahaha, it’s so cute they’re taking a writing class.”
Meanwhile, on December 12, Jimin and Jungkook were the last members of BTS to enlist for their mandatory military service. With all the members enlisted, fans now wait for 2025, when BTS is scheduled to return as a full group.
