Jimin and his music continue to dominate different music streaming platforms both in the US and globally, further demonstrating his music’s popularity and demand among the masses. On September 6, he set new records on Spotify (used globally) and Pandora (used in the USA), again cementing his already widely recognized name in music history.
His lead track ‘Like Crazy‘ from his first solo album ‘FACE’ exceeded 500 million streams on the Spotify counter as of the update on Sept 6. In so doing, ‘Like Crazy’ became the fastest Korean songin history, as well as the fastest solo song by a Korean or K-pop soloist to reach this feat.
‘Like Crazy’ achieved the 500 million streams in just 166 days, beating the previous record of 178 days set by BTS and Coldplay’s ‘My Universe’ for the record of fastest Korean song to reach this milestone, and also beating the previous record of 309 days set by BLACKPINK Lisa’s ‘Money’ for the record of fastest solo song by a K-pop soloist to achieve this.
The only other four songs by Korean acts to achieve this same feat faster than ‘Like Crazy’ are all English songs, three of which are by group acts and one a collaboration with multiple versions combined for streams.
On Pandora, Jimin rose to a new peak of 864k Monthly Listeners, where he also extended his record as the Korean/K-pop solo artist with the highest peak of monthly listeners in the history of the platform as of the update on Sept 4, and further rose to 869k on Sept 5 then 872k on Sept 6.Notably, Jimin already holds the record as the most streamed BTS member on the platform as of August 16 and is currently the 2nd most streamed Korean/K-pop soloist on the platform after PSY.
Meanwhile, ‘Like Crazy’ has also extended its record as the longest charting song by a K-pop/Korean soloist in the Top 50 of Spotify Global Daily Top Songs chart with 155 days and counting, and Jimin remains the longest charting Korean/K-pop soloist on Spotify Global Daily Top Artists chart with 176 days and still counting.
In addition, ‘Like Crazy’ also extended its record as the longest charting solo song by a Korean/K-pop soloist on Spotify USA Daily Top Songs chart with 100 days and still counting. It is the only Korean solo song to ever reach this feat.

In other news, Jimin’s ‘FACE‘ extended its record as the longest charting album by a K-pop solo artist on Billboard World Albums chart with 23 weeks and counting, while ‘Like Crazy’ is the second longest charting solo song by a K-pop soloist on Billboard Global 200 chart, but the longest charting solo song by a Korean soloist and longest charting Korean solo song on the chart.
