Mnet 'Girls' Night Out' reveals that ramen is the #1 advertisement category that stars want to appear in

Mnet has introduced a new talk show titled ‘Girls’ Night Out’ this year, with three female hosts leading the show. In each episode, the hosts conduct surveys and votes among the celebrities who have appeared on Mnet programs. The guests are then ranked on random topics such as relationships, traveling, and fashion. The rankings are analyzed by the hosts, and the results are discussed in-depth on the show.

During the latest episode of Mnet’s talk show ‘Girls’ Night Out’ on April 25, the topic of discussion was the most coveted advertisements among celebrities. The show conducted a survey among celebrities who have previously appeared on Mnet programs and the results turned out to be quite surprising.

Surprisingly, the top advertisement that stars wanted to appear in was for ramen, followed by soju and cosmetics. The show’s hosts, Yena, Mijoo, and Jang Do-yeon, analyzed the results and discussed the findings. They also brought up the example of BTS’s Jin becoming the model for Jin Ramen, which led to a sell-out of the product throughout Korea.

Ramen advertisements are highly coveted due to the product’s wide-ranging influence and immense popularity across Asia. The success of BTS member Jin’s Jin Ramen campaign last year contributed to the product’s international recognition and established Ottogi as a global company. As a result, being a model for ramen commercials has become an even more desirable feat. To add to its list of achievements, Ottogi was recently named one of the Representative Brands of Korea at the end of last year.

The BRANDSTARS Selection Committee hosted the 5th 2023 Korea Representative Brand and selected Korea’s best brands by industry.

BTS was selected in the entertainment category for the 5th consecutive year.

Jin’s commercials for Jin Ramen can be seen all across the country, and his endorsement has further elevated the brand’s status.
