Minami of RESCENE spoke about being recognized by BTS‘s Jungkook, whom she has followed as a fan for over a decade.
On the July 11 broadcast of MBC’s ‘Omniscient Interfering View,’ RESCENE appeared as guests and talked about their growing popularity. The hosts brought up the recent moment when Jungkook mentioned the “Yaho” meme and a cover song by Minami.
“I’m an 11-year ARMY,” Minami said. “When I saw it in the morning, I said, ‘This is crazy.’ My mom contacted me and told me to ‘watch it quickly.'”
Member Woni also shared how the group is adjusting to their rising profile. “It’s amazing just to see our name on those rankings,” she said. Both members pointed to the viral “Yaho” meme as a turning point for their public recognition.
