As BTS celebrates their monumental 10th anniversary, RM and Jimin took the opportunity to express their gratitude and heartfelt emotions through messages dedicated to fans.
The messages posted on Weverse have brought tears to many fans as it showcases the unwavering heart that BTS has for their fans.
RM wrote:
“It is said that mountains and rivers change in a decade, It’s true.
There were countless waves.
There were so many early mornings that I can’t even remember.
I feel like a different person in my 20s and my 30s.
Now, there are times the old me seems more unfamiliar.
It’s a really special thing to be enchanted by certain words.
Until a noun becomes a pronoun; When BTS becomes BTS and when ARMY becomes ARMY…There was a lot of rain and wind, and also love.
We built our own world that no one could possibly understand.Thanks to the ARMYs and so many people who helped us, I was able to experience something special that I won’t be able to experience again.
Looking back, I became used to kicking open the door and leaving after being absorbed in reminiscing briefly.
Even now, I’m still imagining our part 2. It feels like it can be anything.
The concerns and the uncertainty I had when I was 20 and 27 are still there.As I mature little by little,
I realize that there are a lot of things in the world that can’t be explained with just words and writing and that things that seem unchanging do change one day.
I also realized that the birth of a ‘Name’ requires the strength and love of so many people.
I am still immature.
I’ll probably continue to feel unfamiliar, anxious, and pained.
Still, I will move forward.
At times apart but together, far but close,
I hope that you will be with me as I will be with you.

Actually, it’s not that. Hmm, it is definitely hard to express with words.
To be honest, at first, I felt a little depressed starting last year because I felt the time for us all to be together has come to a stop but that wasn’t true.
Each of us is thinking and contemplating what we can do in each of our positions and trying things while thinking of one another. All these things are being together.
So, these days, I am wholly happy.
Of course, I miss you the more.
I wonder how you all are doing, what worries you have.
I’m curious but I’m sorry I wasn’t able to come more often.
But I still think of you constantly.
I think I said this:
8 years is long if you think it’s long, it’s short if you think it’s short…9 years of time is…etc.
But the 10 years do feel different.
It’s something that is firm that no one can ignore, so you can understand and share more.
Yes, it’s that sort of feeling.
I’m happy.
So I want to work more diligently to maintain this sort of relationship.
I’ve told you ARMYs a few times already,
It’s not easy to support and love someone and give them strength for no particular reason.
That is why I am able to understand how happy we are.
