The Japanese woman who kissed BTS member Jin on the cheek without warning at ‘2024 FESTA‘ has been booked for sexual harassment.
According to media outlet reports on February 27 KST, the Seoul Songpa Police Office has booked ‘A‘, a Japanese woman in her fifties, for sexual harassment in a public place. The police has currently summoned ‘A’ for questioning, although ‘A’, who is residing in Japan, has yet to give a proper response.
Previously in June of last year, Jin held a “hug event” with approximately 1,000 fans during ‘2024 FESTA’. During this event, one fan faced criticism for suddenly kissing Jin on the cheek.
Afterward, a police report was filed against ‘A’. After receiving the report, the Seoul Songpa Police requested the cooperation of Japan’s INTERPOL in order to identify ‘A’.
