As BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) is set to be discharged from the Special Forces of the South Korean military on June 10th, fans around the world are carrying out various celebratory support projects.
Several Taehyung fanbases and fansites have organized support on buses and trucks in high-density locations in celebration of Taehyung’s upcoming discharge.
- “V of VALOR”
The Thailand fanbase “BTS V THAILAND” launched the “V of VALOR” project, transforming multiple electric buses into vibrant mobile galleries on the streets of Bangkok.
Running throughout June, these buses feature stunning designs showcasing Taehyung’s images, with handlebar QR codes linking to his Instagram, Spotify, and music videos, allowing fans to engage with his work while celebrating his return.
- “V on Wheels”
The Nigerian fanbase “KTH Nigeria” announced that they will operate a wrapped bus for one month in Lagos, the largest city of the African Union.
- Special Wrapped Buses & LED Trucks
The Chinese fanbase “Baidu VBar” prepared two buses wrapped with Taehyung’s images, operating between HYBE and Chuncheon.
Two LED trucks will also be stationed at the main entrance of HYBE Headquarters. The LED screens on the trucks will display 180 warm and heartfelt messages from Chinese Kim Taehyung fans.
- “Happy Vus”
The Korean fanbase “KTH Supporters” will be running a bus advertisement called “#HappyVus” wrapped with Taehyung’s photo in Seoul and Chuncheon.
- “V-Vus”
Fansite “NUNA V” announced”V-vus” which will also circulate around the Sinyongsan area where HYBE is located, as well as through Sinchon, Hongdae, and Hapjeong. Ads will also be placed at the bus stop in front of the HYBE headquarters in collaboration with Korean fans.
- Promotion Truck
The Arabic fanbase “THV In Arabic” is operating a promotion truck that circles around the HYBE building.
The Arab fan shared, “I faced many challenges, especially in finding a reliable intermediary in Korea, but thank God, the dream has come true. All I hope for is that this message reaches Taehyung and that he feels the sincere love from a heart that always wishes him well, no matter how far the distance may be.”
