While it seems common knowledge to netizens and ARMYs, one of the biggest shocks for those outside the K-Pop world is that BTS‘s Suga and Agust D are the same person.
Rapper Min Yoongi goes by two stage names: Suga for his group work with BTS and Agust D for his solo releases.
In an interview, when asked to share the differences and similarities between Suga and Agust D, he revealed that it all comes down to personal expression.
The difference is that there is a lot more that I can openly express and that I can show a more raw side to myself [with Agust D]. What’s similar is that both sing of dreams and hope.

Last month, Agust D made headlines after the release of his new album when he shocked fans with not only some unbelievable tracks but the cinematic spectacle that came with the music video “Haegeum.”
One YouTube channel recently reacted to the “Haegeum” music video, and unsurprisingly, they seemed just as obsessed with the song.

Suddenly, after the strong statement that Agust D should go after BTS, one of the other men in the video looked shocked when he pointed at the screen and explained, “He is in BTS!” After trying to wrap their heads around it, the same person added, “Suga is Agust D.”
After the realization that Suga and Agust D were the same people, the look on their faces was hilarious as the main reactor exclaimed, “What the f*ck,” before the others joined him in expressing their shock.
Of course, that meant that all men couldn’t stop praising BTS even more after realizing just how special the group’s rap line is, adding, “Damn, they got RM, J-Hope, and Suga all in one group.”

ARMYs couldn’t get enough of the content creator’s reaction. They also loved how shocked and impressed he was at how strong BTS’s rap line was and how much recognition he was giving the idols after realizing they were in the same group.
While it isn’t uncommon for people to be shocked, this YouTube channel took it to a new level and captured the hearts of ARMYs with their raw reactions that added to their praise of BTS as a group.
