Although BTS’s V is currently one of the most popular artists in the world, his journey to this point has not been easy.
Throughout the years, V has made a number of confessions that have made many ARMYs (BTS’s fandom) sob. Here are four of V’s confessions.
1. V talked about sasaeng fans
Sasaeng fans are one of the worst things that K-pop idols face, as these are fans who choose to invade their favorite idol’s privacy. During a live broadcast, V shared that sasaeng fans always follow the members on the group’s flights and hope that they will stop.

“I’m speaking for all of us. Right now we fly private jets but we really want to fly with commercial airlines. But whenever we fly, whether it’s short or long distances, We all had people who knew in advance where we sat. They would sit in front of us or right next to us, and it made us a little uncomfortable. Honestly, I wish they wouldn’t. I was really scared,” said V.
2. V confesses about being bullied
During a livestream, V shared that he was once invited to one of a friend’s birthday parties. However, the friend intentionally gave V the wrong address.

“I didn’t know where to go, so I waited outside for 3 hours with the gift while trying to figure out the address. Finally, I got there, gave him the gift and said, ‘It’s about time. I have to go home, I’m going.” I remember I cried a lot when I walked home” – V said.
“Later, he revealed it was because he was jealous of me. Honestly, it happened in elementary school, we were still young. He sincerely apologized to me about 2 years later. I was awkward for a while because of that incident, but because he sincerely apologized, I forgave him.”

3. V confesses to being scammed by a taxi driver
Before debuting with BTS, V was once scammed by a taxi driver. The incident happened when he went to Seoul with his father to sign a contract with Big Hit Entertainment.

When V and his father arrived at the bus station in Seoul, they took a taxi to the Big Hit Entertainment building, located in Gangnam. In the end, the taxi driver charged them 32,800 KRW (28.18 USD) for the ride, when the real price was only 10,000 KRW ($8.59). V and his father were tricked because they didn’t know the streets of Seoul well. However, now V and his father consider this as a happy memory.
