BTS continues to release new content and music for fans following their grand full group comeback.
On July 16, BigHit Music announced that three new versions of the track from BTS’s fifth full-length album, ‘ARIRANG,’ will be released: the Korean version of “NORMAL,” an instrumental version, and an additional audio release.
The group will also unveil the official music video for “NORMAL.” A teaser has already been uploaded to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, showing the members in a restroom setting with a natural, unfiltered concept.
The teaser also revealed that the photo previously featured in the print edition of the New York Post was actually a scene from the “NORMAL” music video. Another image from the video was also published by the San Francisco Chronicle, further building anticipation.
“NORMAL” is an alternative pop track that portrays the members’ ordinary everyday lives. It is characterized by heavy drum kicks and snare-driven production blended with the members’ melodic rap performances.
Following its release, the song received strong support from listeners around the world. It debuted at No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated April 4.
Meanwhile, BTS continues its strong run on the Billboard charts. Their fifth full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ ranked No. 25 on the Billboard 200 chart dated July 18, marking its 16th consecutive week on the chart.
