According to army officials on May 31 KST, BTS member j-hope has been appointed to the position of assistant instructor for new recruits at his training center, located in Wonju, Gangwon Province, home to the 36th Homeland Defense Infantry Division of the ROK army!
j-hope is now the second member of BTS to serve as assistant instructor for new recruit training following his hyung, Jin, currently serving as assistant instructor for the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.
Meanwhile, j-hope enlisted as an active duty soldier for the 36th Infantry Division on April 18, 2023. He successfully completed his new recruit training back on May 24, greeting ARMY on Weverse and SNS for the first time since his enlistment.
