Previously, media reports speculated that BTS’s RM would be chosen to become an ambassador of a Korean ministry. According to Big Hit Music, they confirmed that RM would be appointed as the ambassador for the Ministry Of National Defense’s Excavation Team. The ambassador appointment ceremony will be held on June 1.
This team carries out veterans project to excavate the remains of fallen soldiers and send them to their families. In particular, RM has now become the third ambassador for this team and will be participating in various activities to promote the ministry.
