Mask manufacturing company DOBUMASK is currently being criticized for its cooperation with HYBE and the boys BTS.
Specifically, the masks have separate colors suitable for each member and the boxes are designed according to the color of BTS’ album Butter . Each mask is also decorated with a Butter symbol.
Each pack has 7 masks individually packed in a bag. The 49-piece mask set sold for 245,000 KRW (about 204 USD) angered fans.
Although the masks themselves are manufactured by DOBUMASK and not HYBE, fans are questioning whether HYBE signed a contract to sell them at high prices. On the other hand, DOBUMASK is being criticized for taking advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic for profit.
