Ko So Young shared a story about receiving a thoughtful gift from Jungkook’s mother.
On May 12, a video titled “Ko So young reveals her closet for the first time in 35 years since debut” was uploaded to her YouTube channel.
During the video, Ko So young picked up a piece of candy and proudly said, “This candy was given to me by Jungkook’s mother.”
When the production staff asked how she knew Jungkook’s mother, Ko So young explained, “I went to see a concert, and his parents were sitting next to me. They were such nice people.”
She continued, “His mother greeted me and said, ‘I don’t really have anything to give you,’ and then she pulled this out of her bag.”
As a staff member tried to touch the candy, Ko So young quickly pulled it away, joking, “There were three originally. Yoon Seol ate one, I ate one, and now there’s only one left.”
She added, “After the performance, I went backstage to say hello and met Jungkook. When I told him his mother gave me candy, he said it’s something she eats all the time.”
In April, Ko So young shared memorable moments from a BTS concert, posting photos with members V and Jungkook while praising the group’s “world-class” presence after attending the show with her husband Jang Dong gun at Goyang Stadium.
