BTS member Suga recently brought home a remarkable achievement for the group in particular and the K-pop industry in general!
Specifically, BTS’s Suga made history as the first Korean artist to debut at number one on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart with the song ” Girl Of My Dreams” .
Only one other Korean artist ever topped this chart is PSY with its iconic hit – Gangnam Style . However, Gangam Style didn’t debut at number one, but only topped the chart a while later.
Girl Of My Dreams has surpassed many songs of famous international artists such as Abcdefu of GAYLE (No.2), Cold Heart (PNAU Remix) of Elton John combined with Dua Lipa (No.3), Fancy Like by Walker Hayes (No.4) and Shivers by Ed Sheeran (No.5).

This achievement is not only important for Korean artists, but also has its own meaning for Suga. This is the song that Suga collaborated with the late American rapper Juice WRLD, on the new album Fighting Demons released on December 10.
Suga once shared that he “admires Juice WRLD’s talent and understands the messages that the late rapper passionately conveys in his musical works”.
