Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, took a well-deserved break while serving in the Special Forces of the army.
On March 31, Taehyung made a surprise appearance at the home stadium of Gangwon FC to watch the intense match between Gangwon FC and FC Seoul in Round 4 of the 2024 K League 1.
A bulked-up Taehyung looked exceptionally handsome with short hair and dressed in his military uniform. His natural good looks shone through, proving he doesn’t need idol styling to be gorgeous.

Taehyung was accompanied by fellow soldiers, and they could be seen having a blast and cheering for the players. His camaraderie with the soldiers once again showcased his easy-going personality, which earns him friends wherever he goes.
Taehyung’s unannounced visit was a huge gift to the packed crowd. The stadium erupted in cheers whenever he appeared on the jumbotron. Taehyung shyly responded to the crowd’s enthusiasm with a bright smile and by making the “V” sign.

Taehyung is currently serving in the ‘Ssangyong Unit (Double Dragons)’ of the Military Police Special Task Force (SDT). Since enlisting on December 11 last year, he has received much praise for opting to join the Special Forces (SDT), known for their rigorous training, and for his exemplary performance as an Elite Trainee.
